The Rum Diary

I saw this film on 21 November at Stratford Picture House

Death and loathing in Puerto Rico.

Rambert Dance Company

I saw this performance on 18th November
at Sadlers Wells Theatre

Rainforest - No melody. The musical director joked before the performance about the music being rubbish. I'm afraid he might have been right. The dance was incredibly clever and needed to be.

Seven for a secret never to be told - Beautiful music and dancing with as much harmony as the music. Superb

Elysian Fields - Superb dancing of course and using speech as music was very well done, although I would have preferred if much had not been done deliberately out of the spotlight. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of involvement of all the dancers who mostly sat around watching, also from the dark.
